Pure Relaxation

Time for fun and relaxation!

 The PaleoBarefoots^® were invited to visit the Middle Ages by a couple of (Paleos^®) friends we met whilst in Cologne, and went to the "Middle Ages Phantasy Spectaculum" Event at the Fühlinger lace and had a great time. There was a nice atmosphere, great music, suitable surfaces and sufficient rain in between to offer our feet a broad spectrum of stimuli and pleasant relaxation. Everyone wanted to know where these shoes come from!

Many were staring with interest at our feet, they looked around and quite some of them wanted to know where these strange glittering shoes come from. They wondered as we walked straight through mud and puddles while others needed to go around them, because of their shoes. It was very interesting to see their faces!

Long conversations often resulted and the initially incredulous glances quickly gave way to the realization that these "shoes" were a wonderful idea. More than suitable for events of this kind which generally take place exclusively on natural surfaces - like here in Cologne. This was a place, where the Paleos^® felt right at home. Unfortunately, we soon ran out of business cards and brochures... However, we are sure that they will not forget about our Barefoots. Once back home in the modern age, they will quickly find them on the internet.

Authentic costuming, Middle Age food, historically drinks, a beautiful wide open event location, meadows and water, lots of stalls, jugglers, magicians, children's entertainment, and by the wide range of musical groups and real festival atmosphere in front of four stages.Overall a great weekend!
